Engineered Designed consists of a flat Copper ring with bonded material to the internal diameter that is narrower and thicker than the Copper washer. The narrower inner sea Locks on the bolt threads forming a sealing lip. As the bolt or fitting is tightened, it compresses the Bonded seal element until fully tightened upon the Cooper washer creating an efficient high pressure seal on both the threads and the sealing faces.
